Easy Steak Teriyaki
This is a very popular recipe but I think it is because it turns out so well every time so no one varies it.
Steak Teriyaki
2 1/4 lbs (1 kg) chuck or round steak2 tabs vegetable oil
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup soy sauce
4 tabs sugar
1 - 2 cloves garlic crushed
Slice the steak thinly and place into the slow cooker. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour over the steak and mix through. Cover with the slow cooker lid and cook on low for around 5 hours. I serve it with rice but vegetables and mashed potato or pasta are nice for a change too. The meat is lovely and tender and its one of our favorite dishes.
Note: I add 2 cloves garlic but it depends what your tastes are whether you like the strong garlic taste.

I’ve pulled my crock pot out of the appliance graveyard and am determined to use it again – thanks!
