You can use a whole cake mix in the crock pot can and I personally add an extra egg to the mix.

got crockpot at a flea market lately and a cake pan accessory was included. I need recipes for cake or do you use a whole cake mix?

Well if you are looking for an antique one (ha ha), sounds better than oldie but a goodie, then look on eBay. You might have to keep an eye on the auction for awhile but you will get a good bargain on there. I got the cake pan too now to fit it and they are a bit more hard to find but well worth it.
